Veh # 19 In February of 1994, Fire Chief Bruce E. Mullen took delivery of this new Central States, 1250 GPM Pumper. This piece was the 4th Class A Pumper to be purchased by the Department and replaced the 1961 Maynard 500 GPM Pumper. It was commissioned in March of 1994 and carried the radio # 801 until August of 1995 when the 800 series was retired. This truck made it first run on March 7th, 1994 to Day Road and Route 111 for a Motor Vehicle Collision. Equipped with 1000 Gallon Tank, this was the 1st Apparatus to be purchased with a prepiped deck gun. The cost of this truck was $133,785. |

Veh # 22 In February of 2002, Fire Chief Bruce E. Mullen took delivery of this new Central States, 1250 GPM Pumper. This piece was the 5th Class A Pumper to be purchased by the Department and replaced the 1974 750 GPM Pumper. It was commissioned on March 17th, 2002 and made it first run to the Buzzell Road and Murch Road for a Motor Vehicle Collision. Equipped with 1000 Gallon Tank, this was the 1st Apparatus to be equipped with 911 seats and a through the tank storage compartment. The cost of this truck was $200,000. |

Veh # 16 In November of 1987, Fire Chief Bruce E. Mullen took delivery of this new Emergency One, 1250 GPM Pumper. This truck replaced Tank 3, the 1956 Army 6x6 1500 gallon tanker. This piece was the 3rd Class A pumper to be purchased by the Department. It was commissioned in December of 1987 and carried the radio # 831 until August of 1995 when the 800 series was retired. This truck made it first run on December 30th to the Dayton Dump for a Dump Fire. Equipped with 1000 Gallon Tank, this was the first Diesel Apparatus purchased by the Department and was also the first piece to be equipped with air brakes, 5” Hose and a crew cab. The cost of this truck was $130,038. |

Veh # 26 In December of 2008, Fire Chief H. Rodney Carpenter took delivery of this 1987 95’ E-One Ladder with a 1500gpm pump. This piece was the 4th Ladder truck to be purchased by the Department and replaced the 1975 100’ American LaFrance. It was commissioned on January 6, 2009 and made it first official run to 5 Dennett road for a CO detector sounding. It was used prior to its official commission during the ice storm for traffic control and limb removal from the road way. This was the 1st Ladder truck to be equipped with a pump, 200 gallon water tank, and a bucket. The cost of this truck was $188,000. |

Veh # 24 In April of 2007, Fire Chief H. Rodney Carpenter took delivery of this new PL Custom, Type III Ambulance. This piece was the 6th Ambulance to be purchased by the Department. This truck was placed into service on July 20th, 2007 and made its first run to the Old North Berwick Rd for a Medical Emergency. The cost of this truck was $127,247. |

Veh # 20 In August of 1999, EMS Director Karen M. Gagnon took delivery of this new PL Custom, Type III Ambulance. This piece was the 5th Ambulance to be purchased by the Department and replaced the 1991 Ford Ambulance. It was commissioned on August 27th and made it first run on August 28th to Scott’s Cove Campground for a Medical Emergency as Rescue 5. The cost of this truck was $103,894. This truck became the back up ambulance on July 20th, 2007 at which time it was redesignated Rescue 6. |

Veh # 23 In February of 2003, Fire Chief Normand J. Bilodeau took delivery of this 2002 GMC 1-Ton. The body from the 1981 Squad 1 was removed and placed on this new chassis. Also, a new 250 gallon poly tank was purchased. This vehicle came equipped with a winch able to winch from the front or the rear of the apparatus. It was commissioned in February of 2003. This truck made it first run on February 17th, 2003 to Sullivan Lane for a Medical Emergency. The cost of this truck was $40,000. During the winter 2008 under Fire Chief H. Rodney Carpenter, a new aluminum body was installed with roll up doors and additional scene lighting for $28,000. This unit was placed back in service on Friday February 20th, 2009 and made its first run to Winfield Lane for a Medical Emergency. |
